The Feldhues Group can count on 200 years of experience in processed meat product manufacturing. The company rose from a small, traditional butcher shop in the town centre of Metelen in Westfalia, the western part of Germany. Today, the group consists of three modern plants, measuring a total of approx. 10,000 m² in size. Besides the production of aspic products, delicatessen and some other specialities, focus is placed on the production of meat products with design. Feldhues Tec represents the technical department of the group, which develops and builds the unique in-house production equipment. At the same time, Feldhues Tec develops and builds special machinery for third parties.

Core business within the processed meat category is the manufacture of children’s character meats – processed meat products that show a design in the meat slice.

The first production plant, Feldhues Fleischwarenbetriebe GmbH, was built in Metelen in 1978. Only 6 years later, it was decided to set up a second plant in the Republic of Ireland – Feldhues GmbH Fleischwarenproduktion in Clones, Co. Monaghan. From there, the UK and Irish markets are being served. In 2004, the third and completely new, state-of-the-art manufacturing site was taken into operation in Metelen – feldeco fun foods GmbH. Total staff within the group is 200.
